Abstract
"The following is a collection of stories stemming across 400 years. All are based on truth: that since the establishment of a colonial, patriarchal order, families have been separated. I focus on the voices of women and children because history portrays us as weak when in reality we are the first to be hunted because without us, our communities will fall.
We are the ones who give and nourish life.
We are the next generations.
Some of these words are excerpts of herstorical documents while others are creative interpretations of interviews, history books, film, visual arts, facts and statistics." - intro to zine
