As an avid traveler and as a light skinned Latina who visits the motherland, this zine made me critically think of the ways that I have been part of the problem in recolonizing my mother lands by viewing these spaces through a western lens. The alienation was also captured, in how feeling neither from here nor there in being a stranger from your origin lands and how fucked up it yet beautiful yet sad yet hopeful it all is.
