Abstract
In The Margins is not just another handbook or story. It's a critical approach to the "here and now" by people dealing with issues that should concern us all. Everyone has their unique story to tell. Everyone experiences things differently. In times of hardship, we band together to support one another. We are here to share our stories of being marginalized in order to have others understand the social space in which we live. It helps us create relationships with other people. societies, and our surroundings. "Margins" should be understood as more than physical space but as spatial components of life that can be turned into social actions.

This "Guide to Self-Care" tackles issues of helplessness by sharing how and what we have learned when confronted with privilege and discrimination issues, and how we can teach others to handle sensitive topics in a more supportive way. Through individual stories, self-expression, comic strips, illustrations, and poetry, we remind ourselves of how to find allies and that we need to take care of ourselves as much as we care for the ones we love. Self-care often gets left behind, forgotten amid all the political turmoil and personal trauma we experience. This issues is a reminder that you are loved and that self-expression should not be forgotten but rather encouraged.
